The market for luxury transfers is fiercely competitive. Up against the likes of Uber and Addison Lee, family-owned executive airport-transfer company Herts Executive were stepping up their game with a sleek new booking system and app. But simply launching them through PR and advertising wasn’t going to get the attention we needed. This called for a complete rebrand.

The challenge

Their fleet of 40 brand new E-Class Mercedes and incredibly professional drivers had already earned Herts Executive a sterling reputation locally. They were ready to level up. With their new app ready to go, Herts Executive needed to find a way to communicate the personal and high-quality service it offered.

We believed that defining the Herts Executive brand would be the key to our success. To get a true idea of the what makes Herts Executive different, we spoke to their employees. What we uncovered was a passion for excellence and customer service that simply wasn’t communicated in their current marketing. For us, these were qualities we needed to shout about.

The brand DNA we delivered secured buy-in across the company and gave the business the language it needed to really express why people should choose them. To complete the brand work, we also provided redesigned logos, brand colours, and fonts. The next step was the web build. 

We created the content and designs for the new website, then worked with a team of developers who specialise in integrating booking technology into websites and apps. As a result, the simultaneous roll-out of the new brand and booking system was a success, with zero interruption to service.

The outcome

The redefined brand gave us the ideal opportunity to generate proof of the excellent service Herts Executive offers. So we entered a total of four professional awards, including local business awards and national industry awards. Herts Executive were shortlisted for all four award entries and won three of them.

With fresh accolades to share and a powerful brand to support them, the Herts Executive sales team had the tools and confidence to pitch for (and win) major clients, including Airbus, GSK, and AstraZeneca.
